Default Vegan pet food?
What is everyone's thoughts on this?

If you ask me it is animal abuse as animals like cats and dogs need a meat based diet.

You can make a decision on your diet but you can't force your pers to live in that lifestyle

No as the pets don’t have a choice ,

Unless I notice they don’t like eating meat then I might try vegetarian stuff for them

Personally I feed my Cat meat based Cat food because it's good for her, or is meant to be anyway.

I have never seen a vegetarian dog or cat ,I guess there might be some who don't mind eating it . But I'd imagine most pets would prefer 100% meat.

In all honesty if a bit of cat food lands on my knuckles when I pull the ring back, I boak.

But, I dont think I would if it was vegan cat food.

Dogs & Cats are carnivores, it would be cruel and abusive not to feed them the food they need also you can feed your cat vegan food but if you let her out she's going to be catching herself a mouse or a bird to make up for it (or begging for food off the neighbours)

Dogs are scavengers/omnivores so you can just about get away with it with a dog so long as everything they need is in there.

Cats are hunters/carnivores and it's cruel. Anyone who has an issue with cats eating meat just shouldn't own cats.

It'll also probably start to think its poor owners are struggling to catch fresh meat and start leaving little dead animal gifts on the doorstep
