And just because people don't believe Heard ,it doesn't mean they 'hate women'. Just a ridiculous notion. I can't speak for everyone, but most of us just don't believe her lies.

I was referring to the “you might as well stick on a dress and wear a vagina” comment from the lovely chap above. I suppose that’s not misogyny either

Prior to that comment ,you were already saying people are 'women haters' though.

I think the entire thing is heavily infused with underlying misogyny, yea. That’s not the same thing really - misogyny can be subconscious, I don’t think the people doing it actively dislike women, they just don’t realise how heavily they’re playing into the MRA rhetoric or how much they’ve been influenced by the social media narrative in this case.

Thomas C’s comment was not subconscious in the slightest it was clearly and openly anti-women, using “wearing a dress and having a vagina” as a supposed insult. Of course it’s being brushed over because he’s “team Depp”. Everyone went magically blind for a few seconds and missed his post

I'm a gay man and all my friends are women.

I'm not anti-women at all. I'm anti Amber Heard because I do not believe her.

My comment to you was basically saying you might as well be a woman as you're so about all their rights, will willingly throw around that people are women haters in a case where a lot of the time it is the male who is the abuser (statistically).

You'd have an argument with yourself in an empty room though so carry on sweetheart. I'm out xx

“Might as well” be a woman tipping your cards again there Thomas, the way you phrase it says it all. I’m sorry that you think Real Men should be MRA’s; I strongly disagree and I’m not about to start apologising for that, or “toning it down” for people in search of a safe space to spread misogynistic social-media-led fake news because they don’t understand (or perhaps don’t care) what they’re being fed. I’m happy to continue providing a counter-narrative on our little platform, you can block me if you like .

Not another member confused about what a debates forum is for. Maybe we need an explanation at the top?

She claims he hit her "several times in the face WITH CHUNKY RINGS on all his fingers" , yet the photo after the incident has zero marks on her face. And she never got medical help. SHE'S such a LIAR .

No it's not. I don't hate women. All my friends are women.

I just don't believe Amber Heard.

Why did you think it would be an insult to say “I might as well have a vagina” then? The intention is clear enough. You think telling a man that he’s being “like a woman” is offensive. The only possible reason for that is that you believe that being male is better than being female. The comment doesn’t make sense otherwise.
