As for this young boy, yes I feel sympathy, it's a sad situation all around. Immature and niave.... The fact he rang for an ambulance says a lot.

I am guessing that he could face a MUDA manslaughter charge with detention in a YOI until 18 then continue the sentence in a prison depending on how long the sentence is... That's if he does get one and whether it be ruled manslaughter or not.

He'll have to live with the guilt for the rest of his life though and the family will have to deal with the grief. Sad all around
No he's not confused ~ if privately owned they have to have license and insurance, the hire ones have different rules.
