The Tories got handed 2 devastating losses and one of Boris’ more irritating key allies/bootlickers quit as a result and its not even 7am? We have been blessed

That's not even close, Lib Dems won that with a bigger majority than Labour won Wakefield
Trouble for Boris is that things are realistically only going to get worse. Inflation won't come down soon, we'll probably enter recession, the strikes are going to get worse over the summer.. Feels like the longer he stays on the bigger the problems get. Still don't think there's a great alternative though |

any government that is in charge when the economy bombs is in trouble at the next election. If I were the tories I would go for a GE now. If labour win, then they will be booted out at the next election
