the simple reality for a party leader is that they have to be liked by the press, if they are not, like penny, then they stand no chance of being a success. For me, Sunak was always the only one that stood half a chance of being successful. I still think this leadership contest isa waste of time as the tories will be out at the next election. Just to add that i think we are looking at 8 years before the tories will recover enough to be a realistic option at a GE
