I was the same last night. Luckily I don’t have anywhere I particularly need to be this week (other than Tesco every now and then) so I wasn’t totally screwed but either way last night was a tough one. My natural insomniac/night owl tendencies coupled with this unprecedented heatwave make for an interesting combination when it comes to sleep. I didn’t have much hope at all, really.

This has got to be the coldest summer I can remember. We're in peak summer and it hasn't been hot for days now.

Where has the sun gone? Is it coming back?

We're supposed to have heatwaves, it's summer. Just like we have frost in winter.
