Of course it's not good enough. It's perfectly clear that the aim is to keep it in the news rather than making direct accusations that can easily be refuted, or maybe not so easily refuted and they could be prosecuted.

If I accuse someone of a crime and you then ask me what crime, if my reply is "ooooh, it's serious, really bad", then you're within your rights to think I'm talking bollocks. all these republicans have seen it, and not one of them has said anything more than "ooooh, it's serious, really bad."
