To be fair the Lib Dems have called for this too.

However with the main opposition Party on the same page now that should add more clout to it.
Putting pressure on whichever of the 2 dismal candidates end up being Con leader and sadly PM.

Labour and Lib Dems can come up with the goods when they stop the backbiting and work together.

Way back in 2010, Andy Burnham then health secretary worked with other Parties and with Lib Dem Norman Lamb was coming up with a good plan on social care with the NHS.

That was wiped away by the Cons in the coalition.

Labour and the Lib Dems can be a strong electoral force as was shown in 2005.

This seems a good plan indeed on energy and hopefully pressure will build heavily on this shambolic government to stop being so arrogantly incompetent and actually listen to others and voters too.
