I remember it quite well.
The talk of that day were newly promoted, big spending Blackburn Rovers who had just signed record signing, Alan Shearer. If I remember correctly Shearer scored two beauties on that opening day in a 1-3 victory over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park. |
