Well they've got to look like they're doing something. They knew nothing was gonna happen, they were just putting on a show to give you the illusion that they're doing something.

Same as here with the Rwanda thing. The government tells you that they're doing something but then at the last minute it gets stopped and it's not their fault and there's nothing they can do so let's move on to the next story. All a show.
