A company I am not keen on (to put it mildly) have been trying to send me letters hoping I will respond.

I never do and I never will.

So I think (I looked out of the window) they sent a Record Delivery letter yesterday but because our doorbell is disabled (brilliant thing), the postman was unable to deliver the RDL by hand. So he went away. I'm right, a Recorded Delivery cannot be just shoved through the letterbox?

You won't find him there.
He'll not even say he fully supports their cause and grievances.

He needs a real wake up call.
His avoidance of full support is really annoying me now.

[Royal Mail workers to strike on

The action will cover peak delivery
periods like Black Friday and Cyber Monday,
as well as some of the run-up towards
Christmas, and
the Communication Workers Union
said it will have a "dramatic impact".]

[Royal Mail workers to hold 19 days of strike action

The Communication Workers Union (CWU) said the
strikes will cover Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

It said its "significant announcement"
reflects the "level of anger" workers feel.]

[It added that the decision follows a threat
centred around the “outrageous” decision
by Royal Mail Group’s senior management
to withdraw from
major national agreements,
push ahead with cuts to
workers’ terms and conditions
and “completely sideline” the union.]

We're sorry for the disruption this is likely to cause you.

[Royal Mail workers are holding the first of 19 strikes
in a long-running dispute over pay and conditions.

The Communication Workers Union (CWU)
said 115,000 members across the UK would walk
out in a 24-hour strike on Thursday,
starting at 04:00 BST.

General Secretary Dave Ward
said workers faced the "biggest ever assault"
on jobs, terms and conditions
"in the history of Royal Mail".

Royal Mail said further strikes would
"weaken" its financial position.

The planned 19 days of industrial action
include Black Friday week and
Cyber Monday, as well as 13, 20,
and 25 October, and 28 November.

Letters will not be delivered, and some parcels
will be delayed, the Royal Mail has warned.]
