Princess Charlotte, wearing a black coat matching that of her mother, had a small brooch
pinned to her front: a horseshoe, for the great-grandmother known for her lifelong love of
horses.

This funeral is hard to take in, that the Queen is in that coffin.

Seems like yesterday I was watching her Queen's Speech on Christmas Day, which I did every year. When she was beaming with health.

Time goes so fast.

Or the Platinum jubilee .. which was only a few months ago.

It's so surreal.
The Queen has had an amazing send off , biggest funeral.

The choreography of everyone involved, such dedication & you can see they feel honoured.

It's an amazing spectacle. The music, the rhythm, the aesthetics, the timing of it all, the number of people all moving as one, the massive ceremony outside contrasted with the reverential service inside the Abbey

All these traditions dating hundreds of years can still be very powerful

Fantastic…

I although just watched a Queens guard in the Mall move from the outside line to the middle of the parade then out again…don’t know what was going on there…

Fantastic pomp and ceremony

It wasn't a moving service like the Dukes though for me anyway

I think the bit in St George's chapel may be more moving.

No they were walking down the flanks by the crowds…the one in front turned to look at him behind and the next thing you knew was he walked across and into the main group in the centre of the parade and walked around before returning to the flanks…it was really odd…

I also noticed George stick his tongue out at Charlotte when she instructed him to bow as the Queen was just about to leave in the hearse from London…
