[Exclusive: Trans charity Mermaids giving breast binders to children behind parents’ backs ‘Massive safeguarding red flags’ over the taxpayer-funded group lead to calls for an immediate investigation by the Charity Commission] From the Pay Site Telegraph who set up a Girl to sting the charity. [Trans charity Mermaids gives 'harmful' chest-flattening binders to teenage girls and advises troubled youngsters that puberty-blockers are safe and 'totally reversible': Calls for probe after 'massive red flags' are exposed Investigation found that staff from trans charity Mermaids sent out chest binders The binders sent to children who presented as 13 and said parents were opposed Studies have found the use of binders can have harmful medical consequences] From the Daily Mail [Mermaids, a transgender children's charity has been accused of giving chest-flattening devices also known as binders to young girls against their parents' wishes (stock image above)] [Chest binders are used by a growing number of girls who believe they are the wrong sex to disguise their breasts and make them look like boys. The practice was condemned as 'painful, and potentially harmful' by Dr Hilary Cass, the former president of the Royal College of Paediatrics in an interim review of trans children's services for the NHS. The binders, which often look similar to a vest or crop top, are typically made of nylon and spandex. When worn, the extremely tight-fitting undergarment compresses the breasts to create the illusion of a flat chest. But medical experts have highlighted their dangers.] https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...ts-wishes.html Was featured on "Headliners" GBnewsHD daily one hour Paper in depth review 11PM Last edited by arista; 27-09-2022 at 02:07 AM. |

Obviously an unethical move.
And imo an immoral one too. Imo kids shouldn't be being pressured into becoming a transperson, it should always be an adult who chooses to transition of their own free will. But yes I hope that this charity gets into some serious trouble for this.

Awful "charity" that have gotten in with far too many companies. They're dangerous in fact. I'll post what I did the last time they were brought up here

They also advocate puberty blockers in children, and perpetuate the lie that they're fully harmless and reversible.
Disgusting people. Last edited by Oliver_W; 27-09-2022 at 09:18 AM. |

And if you listen to her story about her child and their transition it's quite obvious that her husband didn't want a gay son and this is why the poor kid ended up on the road they did. They banned any "girls toys/clothes" etc and this is why the child said they were really a girl. That's from listening to her own words as well
