Liverpool’s nichely-beautiful, home to some-of the oldest established communities and there’s a slice of every side of life in the city but in terms of the latter London generally just has more. Rochdale’s pretty okay though (and anywhere that produces a show as great as Waterloo Road was has to be given credit). Manchester has MediaCity, Corrie and decent shops (all of-which I really like) but the atmosphere of the city in general is just a bit grim and toxic for me.
