People and animals alike who don’t know their boundaries do my flaming head in.

Chasing someone around aggressively has never in the history of ever been a good way to win an ordinary person’s affection.

You can't compare animals knowing their boundaries to humans knowing theirs. We, as humans, literally destroy habits of thousands of animals every single day. If wild animals come into our areas, it's only because we've destroyed theirs. And even if we haven't, the waste of food we throw out will only draw a hungry animal in.

Your outlook is so strange on animals, and dogs. And completely uneducated

Listen, everyone’s entitled to like and dislike whatever animals they want. If someone prefers cats to dogs that’s their prerogative. Being so attached to an animal to the point where you can’t fathom why someone-else isn’t super-keen on said animal seems stranger to me but you do you.

The stuff about boundaries was somewhat tongue in-cheek. Come on, man.

You have the right to not like dogs, you also have the right to not like any animals. Some humans don't care for animals, sad, but allowed.

However, tongue in cheek or not, comparing humans to animals not knowing their boundaries is just plain stupid.

And you didn't say it tongue in cheek, at all. I respect you Redway, but don't be ridiculous.

Trust me, I love my animals (sorta) but dogs by-and-large have always been an exception. I’ve never liked dogs and the boundaries-ish is just one part of it. It obviously goes without saying that boundaries don’t apply to non-humans in the same way (I didn’t mention anything like a social media detox. from pesky Labradors at any point) but I’m just saying that not being able to walk through a park without worrying for your safety or comfort (which dogs, especially the more aggressive strands, like to encroach on even if they think they’re just being friendly) is annoying and like Jordan says a lot of their owners are too naively-calm about it. No shade to all the cute dogs out there but the world would be a quieter, safer place is dogs learnt to act just a little bit more like cats. I’ve never heard of a cat mauling a baby to death but unrestrained husky dogs have gone there on occasion.

Dog owners are the worst for it
