What a strange way of looking at it. By your reckoning, it lets Diana off the hook for having affairs with married men, then by the same reckoning,Camilla would also be off the hook as she would never had had an affair with Charles if her husband, Andrew Parker Bowles, whom she adored, had been a decent and upstanding man and not a cad who had numerous affairs while married to her.
