Well that part isn't exactly accurate: they're not fully covered (or even close to it) right now because there's a gulf of nearly 50,000 nurses due to recruitment problems caused by poor pay and conditions (and the exodus of EU nurses caused by Brexit). A&E's are on a shoestring and horrendously understaffed in every single hospital in the UK.

One of the major reasons FOR the strike.
