I think he's just saying it to curry favour with the public.
Not sincere.

These lads are such wet-wipes always making breakfast for the girls. I wouldn't stand for that, I would expect the girl to make me breakfast. I would only make her breakfast for a one offf special treat.

The girls would quickly learn that the way to my heart is through my stomach. A real woman looks after her man in the kitchen.

Maybe they should experiment and let them have one day of reading books / watching a movie / listening to music etc

Or one day a week ..,

Just to see if it spoils or enhances the LI experience ???

They must be sooooo bored having the same boring conversations each day ..?quite often with the same people ..
