I don't have photo ID and I don't plan on getting any any time soon.
I do have my works ID which has photo on. Will that be good enough? |

I know a lot of older people who now will not be voting despite having ID.
Who are Con voters too, who are livid that their government have brought this law in. I am extremely surprised at how many Con supporters I've come into contact with who will not go to vote as a protest. So quite a shock to me that is. |

I'm unsure why they've gone with this, it's like they're fixing a problem which doesn't really exist.

They’re doing it to disenfranchise young voters because they’re the most likely demographic to vote against them

the young vote couldn't get off their arses and vote for remain when no voting id was required, so that is where that argument fails

I see no reason at all for it.
I'm pleased to see however that there's even some Con supporters who don't want this either. OR at least don't see the reasoning for it. That it's NOT a left or right exclusive against it. After all Blair and Labour were looking at bringing this in post 2000. However threw it out in the end. This lot should have done the same. They may yet find however, it backfires on them if some Con supporters feel it's a step too far. Then don't themselves bother to go and vote. That would be sweet justice. |

it's not really a cheat as it affects their own voters almost exclusively
Who other than a tory is going to a) read the propaganda and b) believe it |

Well now, why should it be any surprise whatsoever for the Cons to be found MISLEADING voters.
It's one thing they have developed a unique art in doing. Last edited by joeysteele; 27-04-2023 at 02:40 PM. |
