Worth pointing out that the religious zealots in this case are 100% displaying right-wing tactics and outrage here and calling it "woke" is daft. These are fascist ideologies that have far more in common with the worrying rise in other religious branches of politics that seem to be celebrated by many of the same people; i.e. your Kate Forbeses, or Republican evangelists in the US. When you applaud or turn a blind eye to that ideology when it happens to fit your own purposes, you're on shaky ground complaining about it when it's "the wrong god".

Not that I'm saying you chaps are religious, but many seem happy enough to crow alongside the Christian hard-liners then clutch at pearls when it's Muslims.

And to clarify I suppose; no I'm not on the side of the people screeching about a book. I just don't like hypocrisy. If you can see the illogic and danger in these people, where is your concern about the Christian Right?
