this case is just very dodgy. The coroner obviously needs some missing evidence to support a cause of death or to fully explain how she ended up in the water

Nicola Bulley was alive when she fell in the River Wyre, had not been drinking
and died by drowning with no sign of foul play or an attack by a third party, her
inquest heard today.

A police underwater search specialist (one of the ones who failed to find her)
said he believes Ms Bulley fell into the River Wyre before floating
downstream. The 'shock' of the cold water would cause her to 'gasp' and
inhale water, PC Matthew Thackray said.

That would make sense, although you'd think her dog would get it, wasn't it a spaniel which is a water retriever?

This case will always be very suspicious. Shoddy police work and so much evidence destroyed due to police imcompetence.

I expect this inquest will be a sham, just to get things 'over and done with'.

But it will always be an open case in the many eyes of the public.

she may have thrown it and the dog couldnt see where it went or something ..its the only thing that makes sense

cold water shock would have rendered her unconscious in less than 50 secs, she obviously fell in near where her phone was found on the bench
