Yes, I can see what’s being said, there’s just nothing in law that says that a person is legally required to be given a platform by a private company, threatening legal action is just a blatant bully technique

They DID give her the platform and then they took it away at short notice. You're right that they didn't have to agree to host in the first place, however agreeing and then withdrawing without leaving enough time to arrange an alternative venue is definitely grounds for legal action for lost revenue and potential loss of momentum.

Also she wasn't there to speak on trans issues, she was speaking about her life, so she has been cancelled due to holding an opinion ...like the Republicans you are famously supporting, arrested for holding an opinion
