So he’s admitted to an unwise relationship with a younger man, apologised for lying, apologised for misleading his friends, his management and the daily mail (lol) he’s stepped down from all duties and been sacked by his management, still no proof that anything untoward happened before the guy was legal, yet he’s already faced more severe consequences for an affair than any average straight person has in my memory.

it does seem that pressure was applied after his brother was convicted. My guess is that friends of Holly started saying to her .... you seriously didn't know? and that forced Holly to change her approach to him, otherwise it would have been business as usual

I think with his brother situation going on. The papers went into overdrive with the stories they wanted to print and so Phil couldn’t afford to super injunct them all.
Maybe he was going to let some of the lesser stories slip threw and Holly wasn’t having it. The deal between them was that he would keep the papers silent and she wasn’t having it.

Yes I would. People are far too quick to get themselves involved in peoples lives.

Also, I think Schofield is under a lot of mental pressure. I think the media need to back down in case he has suicide thoughts.

The fact of this is he lied. To his wife and family and also to his bosses when questioned. There's no coming back from that breach of trust from an employers point of view. I would bet plenty of stars have had affairs with much younger / older / same sex / opposite sex colleagues. ITVs stance is from a breach of trust viewpoint. Anything else would ve discriminatory but because he has lied when questioned he has provided them with a get out clause.

Glenn he's known the guy since he was a little minor! 10 years old .....You don't think that's weird and has groomer vibes ?? , Especially considering what his brother has been arrested for. If he's trained someone or offered them a job and known them all this time,then that's abuse of power. And I find it very questionable.

How would you feel if a babysitter had looked after someone since they were a little kid , and then started dating and sleeping with them as soon as they were 'legal' . Do you not question that entire relationship and the intentions??, It has dodgy written all over it.
