Had Schofield challenged Willoughby's own integrity then that rift would be more understandable.
His lies though,as she termed being hurt by his lies.
Why hurt by his lies?
She could be angry or sad that he hadn't confided all to her.
HURT though, because of what?

There may be more and maybe she knows OR more likely suspects more.
This today from her will be just about her and saving her status on TV.

I cannot stand her, I have never thought her anything else other than false in her TV image.
Before I'm jumped on for speculation.
Which is all we are left with.
Since I don't believe we've had ALL the truth from Schofield.
We haven't either had I THINK, much real truth from Willoughby either.

Will that be altered today by her.
I doubt it..
Although it would be good to see and hear.

However I still think she should have gone from This morning and Dancing on Ice too.
Because all the time she's now on them.
She will be a constant reminder of this scandal.

Give her another show by all means.
If she had a shred of decency too herself though, she should have gone too and given the show a totally fresh new start.

On a serious note you say you are convinced she has selective memory ..

I just don’t know HOW she could have known that Schofield had followed the lad on Facebook at 15 or had seen him performing in shows at the age of 10 ..

Those are the things that nobody apart from Schofield and the lad could have known … and they are the main things imho ..

She's been alongside Schofield, like in his pocket for ages now presenting This morning 4 days a week.
As well as on other shows with him too.
She's even been involved in on screen interaction with Schofield and this young man.

Yet she never even slightly suspected never mind knew, of anything happening between them
She had to KNOW Schofield had at least got him on the show.

Sorry no way for me.
She's as false as anyone can be.
A miss Sweet actress only in front of cameras.
A totally false image.

Even today.
To save her own status on TV.
She will come on and be willing to talk ABOUT Schofield.
While not talking TO him.

Look, she MUST have at the very least suspected something as she asked him was he having an affair with this young man.
He answered NO.
That's why she claims the rift started because he'd lied to her when she asked him.

I think, THINK, she has maybe known or at the very least suspected.

She has been on that show with him for ages, including long before he got this guy on the show with them too.
She must have seen how close they got.
She must have known they'd had contact before for Schofield to get him employed on the show.

She did suspect, and asked him re an affair.
Because he said he wasn't involved with him, she has this rift with him now.

So where did she not suspect since she actually felt the need to even ask him directly.
Because he lied, she now wants nothing to do with him.

You won't agree because you won't accept anything negative on her anyhow.
I've answered but sorry it cannot be the answer you only want to see however.
