To be fair that's true, Britain as a whole is extremely susceptible to negative campaigning and no one really knows what new and unimaginable BS they'd come up with for an actual vote. That's why I don't think the next GE can be called at all. It won't be run on the basis of anything but [insert PR nonsense here] at the time. Basically I think Labour will only win the next GE if the Tories tactically want Labour to win the next GE - which bizarrely does seem to somewhat be the current script.
