That is rubbish. Whilst in the Royal family, Meghan gave her opinions on mental health and feminist issues. Those issues were absolutely fine. I don’t recall any stifling of her opinions at all.
It was what came after, the lies, the badmouthing, that were her ‘crimes’, as you put it.
You forget the Royals are meant to be apolitical. The only Royal men who ventured into political territory were Philip and Charles. Prince William does not, neither does Edward nor Andrew. William concerning himself with homelessness and the environment is hardly ‘running his mouth off with impunity’.
