I have to smile in a sad way when the left get accused of the mess the UK finds itself

Since the war, the Cons have governed for 48+ years of the 78 years since the war.

In the last 50 years, the Cons have governed in strong right wing ways.
For over 31 years of those 50 years.

If anyone is failing and messing things up there is the more than likely answer.

Plus please no one ever try to tell me that Tony Blair was governing from the left either.

I swear it was within the last year that one of the Tories had the gall to mention the "mess they were left with" from the Labour government

It might even have been Rishi during PMQs, not sure.
