how do you reconcile putting the UK into poverty and making business uncompetitive with the USA, China, India etc etc etc and the fact that we as a country contribute less than 1% toward global warming.

I get that we should be concerned about the environment, but ignoring the simple fact that we are absolutely helpless to do anything about it is sheer folly.

If we get to a point where everyone else in the world has taken the environmental action and we are contributing significantly to global warming then we should re-visit it
