I'm far more optimistic than I ever was for the Channel 5 reboot. The corpse was still warm when they got their hands on it, and I think everyone involved knew the kind of show it'd end up being.

Now enough distance has passed and there's genuine intrigue again.

I don't think it's to be of concern. The casting for BBAU was quite good, and it's already been said the oldest housemate is in their 50s. I think people are panicking because they see the word pre-recorded and not actually properly reading the article.

Yes the launch show will be pre-recorded but the evictions and final will be pretty much live and our votes will decide who goes and who wins.

I wonder if it means Big Brother will have the "robot voice filter" to anonymise/conform whoever is voicing BB at the time.

I took it to mean they would go the other way and humanise the voice of BB.

The Tree of Temptation (voiced by Daniel Nettleton) was hugely popular compared to the more anonymous BB voices (though when you heard the Scottish tones of PEJ you knew someone was in for a major bollocking/removal).
