With all the misinformation around, I'd wait to hear confirmation from reuters, before believing the rumours and fog of war disinformation. Hopefully this remains nothing more than disinformation.

He's actually strung both sides along over the years, and is friendly with both. The Russian position is that Palestine should be it's own state - which is how it was before they were invaded and occupied.

Russia has a fairly obvious reason to want US/European military resources to be tied up in the Middle East and military aid to be focused on Israel.

If the guns n ammo are in Israel and Palestine, they're not in Ukraine.

and Putin had said they are going to talk to officials from both Israel and Hamas

The Israeli military says hundreds of thousands of troops are near the Gaza border "ready to execute the mission we have been given"

Israel is expected to launch a ground offensive on the Gaza Strip soon - it says the mission is to "make sure Hamas won't have any military capabilities"

They need to go in strong. Get rid of all the military of Hamas. It has to be done or they won't stop.
