Apparently he said anti-LGBT things on his social media, but there are no specific quotes or screenshots, so it could be BS.
Also meeting and knowing LGBT people in real life could change the mind of a 'phobe, if he hadn't (knowingly) met a transwoman before his perception might be they're all like IT'S MAAM and meeting Hallie could have changed his mind, at least toward her.
