If Chelsea had a firing striker we'd be up amongst the top 4. Poch still doesn't know his best 11, it's just gonna be another nothingy season for Chelsea. Buying Tony or Watkins in January is an absolute must. Proven PL strikers.

Nah, Lukaku have never gelled well at Chelsea, dunno what it is. He might be consistent in Serie A, but he can't replicate that kinda form in the PL, didn't do for Utd, never has for Chelsea.

Big fish in a small pond. No pressure, free reign. One season wonder. When it comes to the big English clubs he can't handle the heat. He was given plenty opportunities too. He never grew into the role, say like Didier Drogba.

Or maybe ask whether its the team? They have both brought numerous expensive strikers who didn't perform well which tells you they continue to buy players who don't suit the system

You've had plenty of flops up front for Liverpool over the years. It's just not that simple most of the time.
