No, I agree, Vanessa. It wasn’t all his fault, and I kind of think he does not fully understand or feel in control of his own emotions - or that he is afraid of his own feelings. However, he made himself central to this situation, and exacerbated it, because his words and actions did not match.

He, himself, needs to ensure that if says something verbally, he then matches that physically, To tell Matty he doesn’t want any physical, playful stuff, then chase him and and tickle him, is bound to confuse Matty, just as saying he doesn’t have romantic feelings for Henry and then to repeatedly kiss him on the lips, would confuse Henry. It’s leading them on, so he can’t then complain if they respond, because he had made it seem he wants more, even though he’s saying he doesn’t.

I think he's not good at communicating and he admitted that. Good that he apologized.

I agree, Vanessa. I can respect anyone who apologises for their mistakes, and he also seemed to recognise and admit his own failings in doing so.

I just wish he’d get back to being that humorous, funny person with the great one-liners, which made him so appealing in his early weeks.

I like him best with Henry. They really bounce off each other well.
Don't like Matty, so I'm happy he's staying away.
