But I remember saying in the past on here that Trish backing Yinrun always felt to me like she was making her more a 'project' for herself rather than a genuine friend. This vindicates that gut feeling I had. But yeah it's a great shame.

Constantly bringing it back around to a group of people that I never even mentioned is not the surefire way of exonerating your favourite here. Also, take stock of exactly who you're defending here. It's not worth it. Just admitting you were wrong about someone will be less awkward for you.
