Farcical nonsense.

The appointed Foreign secretary should themselves be able to be directly questioned by MPs elected by their constituents.

Even moreso with 2 major conflicts in the World at the same time going on.

Sunak out of what, still 350+ MPs hasn't a single ONE, NOT ONE, who could do the job of Foreign secretary.

This appointing Ministers NOT currently elected to the Commons, by ANY party, should be another thing that gets changed.
Absolutely insulting to people voting in elections.

I think they should select the best people for the job personally. Cameron, obviously isn't the best person for the job in my opinion and I think Cleverly will be a terrible Home Secretary. He is a stranger to the truth

Cameron is NOT just unelected at this time, he is unelected full stop.

The voters are denied a say on how the Foreign secretary deals with the chaos of at least 2 major war conflicts, in any future election.

What would you say I wonder if Labour win under Starmer, then Starmer say made Gordon Brown Foreign secretary.

He had 365 MPs elected in 2019.
All but a few are still there.

Yet according to Sunak, there's not a single Con MP elected in 2019 who could be able to be selected by him to be Foreign secretary.
One of the major offices of State.

It's farcical and ridiculous.

I get what you are saying and to a large extent, it highlights how much Boris destroyed the tory party before the last election, because there were tory mp's with a ton of experience back then

Thinking on it further, Sunak could have called Cameron in as an advisor, training someone else up, rather than being directly appointed
