Young inexperienced, male drivers do tend to be a bit reckless though especially when they have a mates in with them ..

The driver may have been trying to playfully scare the others or they may even have been encouraging him to go faster .. it could have been an animal running across in front of them

We shall never know sadly

I’d guess the parents of the other boys may have mixed feelings on the matter

They could have been speeding, they could have blown a tyre, they could have swerved to miss an animal or a million other reasons. We know nothing as fact now and these kids are dead, saying they were at fault is widely inappropriate until we know ACTUAL facts from the police.

Some of the roads are very narrow and winding,its quite remote in parts , not good if you are speeding,etc not saying they were but you need to be an experienced driver on a lot of the country roads,poor boys.
