Any child between 11-15 would find it extremely hard to run away in a strange country...how do we know he was not threatened??? He travelled through the night for 3 days and rested during the day probably in fear of getting spotted and taken back ...it was only when he reached Toulouse that he felt safe to be seen...and how he came to be picked up.
