They should have never started leaking story lines .. it was better when you were left on a knife edge until the next episode

I remember when Coronation Street was on once a week. A Monday night. It was something to look forward too.

If soaps went back to that schedule, then it might take off again.

Eastenders ruined it all with their two and three episode a week and an omnibus edition on Sundays. Why Coronation Street followed their schedule, I'll never know

I remember it just on a Monday in the early 80s. Probably followed by "Name that tune?" And preceeded by "It's a vets life"

Maybe you’ve got a bit of false memory syndrome

Pretty sure it was on twice weekly in the 60’s /70’s anyways

Elsie Tanner lived a few miles away from us and Len Fairclough lived about a 100 yards away .. I used to walk past his house every day going to primary school .. ( gulp)

Off the t’internet ..

The programme centres on a cobbled, terraced street in the fictional Weatherfield, a town based on inner-city Salford, England. Originally broadcast twice weekly, the series began airing six times a week in 2017. The programme was conceived by scriptwriter Tony Warren.
