Results revealed that briefly exposing children to a violent video game increased aggressive cognition and aggressive behavior. In addition, a significant game × sex interaction showed that this effect was larger for boys than for girls. Findings were interpreted within and supported the framework of the general aggression model. Violent video game effects remain a societal concern, and boys should be regarded as a special group for aggression intervention.

There are studies that say otherwise on Video Games too.
And let's face it GTA nor COD nor any other Video Game makes people turn into Ted Bundy or Jack The Ripper, you'd already have to have psychological issues beforehand to even consider committing such an offense.
And if we go down this road then nothing that's in a public space could ever go past Disney level.
Even Food joints would need to watch out because "you're fattening up children" would be the argument, along with making them "lazy slobs."
