I actually wasn't surprised he died. The last pic I saw of him he looked about 20 stone. I thought at the time no one should be that weight, particularly at the age of 69.
Maybe it wasn't a heart attack. Some people were suggesting suicide because he lost his daily Radio 2 show. Who knows.
