I don't wish anyone ill will (unless they're a paedophile or a serial killer,) and I agree with you that at worst, people are probably going into melodrama or conspiracy theory territory.

But I am going to have to say that I am genuinely amazed at how some people aren't at least a little bit concerned that there might be more to this, given the oddities of the situation.
