I think for someone to suggest a woman has an Only Fans account when she doesn’t, implies all sorts of things about how you perceive them, and has the potential to encourage others to make damaging judgements about that woman as a result.

That’s the way of the unbridled-gossip world in general. You say something about someone that may or may not be true but importantly you then go spreading rumours and then people who really don’t know that person at all (you might be on that boat as well) unquestioningly take their cue from gossip. Maybe they actually do know you a fair bit but don’t care about you enough to hear whatever it is from the horse’s mouth and listen to what you’ve got to say for yourself.

I’ve known people to be rumoured to wanting to be part of a war-cult because they asked for a mate about a certain type of clothes/fabric and OnlyFans is no different. People talk crazy Chinese whispers about people all the time. If you believe it off the bat that says something about you as well.

I’m no fan of Ferne (let’s not even get me wrong there) and I do think she’s ultimately quite insincere but as for the gossip thing, that’s just how it is with people who like to talk too much and take things completely out of context so that other people can now have a negative or totally erroneous assumption-belief about the person. You might get to know me a little on here and see me around and if you do you’ll find out soon enough that I detest that kind of gossip with a passion. I might not like the person who’s being gossiped about but when I’m talking bad about people I don’t like (which is different from maliciously lying on them) I tend to stick to things I know for sure and negative experiences I’ve had with them or assumptions I can tangibly work with rather than completely crazy rumours. Irritation for that kind of back-biting and (ultimately) smear-campaigning isn’t even the word. Ferne irritates me but not as much as that. If there’s one kind of person in this life I hate with a passion it’s an unchecked hyper-gossip.
