If it's Kate looking OK and happy then I'll be happy for her, if it's anything else then what's changed. It's either bad news or more PR guff. Everyone at the very least has to at this point appreciate that not one word they say can be taken as anything but potential fiction. Royal Fam That Cried Wolf, and all that. What people seem to fail to realise (being inherently tribalistic and polarised) is that I don't like or dislike William and Kate any more than Harry and Meghan... I've never been on any "side" other than fairness. I feel just as bad for Kate with the absolute sh**show she's being put through as part of this royal circus as I do for Meghan. And yes, Diana did get the same treatment. The only props I can give to Harry over William is that - as silly as things like "Spare" have been - no one can argue that he hasn't done his best to get his family away from it and do things on their own terms. But he always had more wiggle room to do that, not being the direct heir.

"People" (the GBP) will not readily accept Kate being flawed. Or human in any way. That's what we're seeing at play here.

How is that working out for him? He hasn’t succeeded in ‘getting away from it’, has he?’ He and Meghan cling on to their Royal status as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, when America does not even recognise titles. If they really wanted ‘away from it’ they would style themselves as simply Harry and Meghan and they wouldn’t have lumbered their children with the titles of Prince and Princess.
