They tend to clash heads more and more violently because they're wearing pads and helmets and causes much more mini concussions. I was actually listening to podcast just recently about an NFL player Aaron Hernandez who was only 27 years old but murdered 3 people for minor things and then killed himself. When they looked at his brain afterwards he apparently had the worst case of CTE they'd ever seen in a man of that age. The movie "Concussion" is very good as well, it's about the Dr who discovered CTE and how dangerous it was for NFL players
