I have to agree with you here, Joey. I wasn’t sure what I would think of Nikita when he went in, but I think he has repeatedly shown himself to be a kind, considerate and very compassionate person. He has been calm, positive and cheerful in the house too. To me, he has come across as a genuinely good person.

Some people have an issue with him, and seem to feel he is targeting Fern since his nominations were revealed. However, he has to nominate and I would imagine he has not been the only one to nominate the same person 3 times. If he was as unpleasant as people are now feeling he is, surely it would have been noticeable from what he said about her in the diary room during nominations. Yet, nobody seemed to notice anything at the time.

I don’t remember what he said for the later nominations for Fern, but the first time he said that she was separating herself from the group, and choosing to spend a lot of time on her own. He wasn’t the only one who said this, and the fact that Fern has been up for eviction a number of times, shows it’s not just Nikita who is voting for her. He is just being condemned because BB announced his nominations, when in fact they all need to choose someone, and it is logical to choose the person he feels he has connected least with.

I also have to agree with you about Fern’s ridiculous behaviour last night, which to me demonstrated much more of a snide and nasty streak. I would have felt exactly the same as Nikita if someone approached me in that way and said the things she did. He calmly and politely dealt with the situation and stood up for himself. Credit to him, as it was nonsense.

In my view, it is Fern who is targeting Nikita now, and she is trying to make him feel uncomfortable because she can’t deal with the fact he has nominated her. She needs to get over herself and remember it is a game, rather than taking everything so personally. Strangely enough, in contrast to Nikita, Fern’s behaviour throughout this series has made me like her less and less.
