I understand all of that, and I get that it's scary to take on authority.
But in a scenario like what Iran is currently in, you either live in constant fear that the Government will want you arrested over anything that they deem to be offensive to them (rather than on if it's an actual crime that's a danger to society) or you fight in the hope of living in a more free society.
I mean I know that we in the West don't really feel like we are given enough liberties in certain areas, but we're a utopia compared to this with Iran.
And that's not an attack on their regular citizens towards the end of my paragraph above, but how the country is being run.
