[ITV have been hit by a wave of Ofcom complaints
after Rageh Omaar was struck by a mystery illness
while presenting the News at Ten.

Viewers were left concerned for the
presenter after he began to struggle with his
words during an item on
weekend leisure time near the end
of the programme on Friday.

ITV bosses later revealed they had
attempted to pull the 56-year-old off air,
but he had insisted that he continued
and was taken straight to hospital after
