Scottish Greens expel 13 members for declaring that ‘sex is a biological reality’
![]() Robin Harper, the party’s first parliamentarian, calls decision ‘utterly laughable’ and urges vote of no confidence in leadership A former leader of the Scottish Greens has called for his successors to be ousted after party activists were expelled for declaring that “sex is a biological reality”. The party has kicked out 13 members who signed a declaration stating that biological women were entitled to sex-based rights and protections, and expressing concern that gender critical views were being “silenced”. The Greens decided that they posed a risk to the “safety of all trans and non- binary members”. In 2018, the party adopted a rule that said “trans- exclusionary individuals of any kind are not welcome as members”. The eight-point declaration said “sex is a biological reality” and asserted that women have a right to maintain the sex-based protections enshrined in the Equality Act. It declared that “women and girls have the right to discuss policies which affect them without being abused, harassed or intimidated” and that lesbians were “women who are same-sex attracted”. Some trans activists claim that it is transphobic for a lesbian biological woman to not want to enter relationships with men who identify as women. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/politics...logical-sex-i/ |

You can't force people to be attracted to a type of person if they're just not attracted to it, I still can't believe that there are some people that don't understand this in the 21st century.
