Many politicians rushed to parrot the misinformation and condemn Israel including
@JustinTrudeau
,
@melaniejoly
and a bunch of
@liberal_party
MPs and the entire
@NDP
caucus (not surprised).

The facts that have come to surface paint a different picture:

✅YES there was an #Israeli airstrike

❌NO it was not in the humanitarian zone

✅YES it was targeting high level targets

❌NO it was not an initial strike to killed the 35 people

✅YES it was the shrapnel from the strike that hit a Hamas weapon storage (most likely unknown to #Israel) that triggered the secondary explosion

❌NO #Israel does NOT target civilians

✅YES innocent civilians needlessly died

✅YES Hamas bears the responsibility for hiding amongst civilians and storing weapons in civilian populations
