At least Ten Hag didn't get them relegated when they were more than good enough to stay up, like Rooney did this last season.

Fair point on that.

Rosenior was number 2 to Rooney at Derby, and basically did all of the training and preparation with the players.

And Rooney did take a team that was the sixth best team in the League (as Eustace, Mowbray, and Rowett were all showing) and he sunk the team.

That has singlehandedly got to be the most incompetent thing that I have ever seen or heard about happening in any industry, and that includes some of the stuff that I hear about going on, on The Acolyte.

Surely you have to admit to Southgate’s ineptitude as regards tactics / strategies ?

He’s been found out at the previous Euros then the World Cup and again the other night
We get 1:0 and then he thinks “ protect the lead” ..

Then when the opposing manager makes tactical changes Southgate has no clue what to do… he doesn’t use substitutes because he’s scared of making things worse so he delays the substitutes till it’s too late

I agree with you that Southgate isn't the greatest Manager, I just think that he has done well for England compared to Roy Hodgson and Capello before him.

And if Barcelona had to pick between Southgate and Rooney to be their next Manager, who would you want them to pick?

So it’s widely felt that one of England’s many problems is Declan Rice in that against Serbia aa soon as we go one up he has the tendency to drop back to make us more compact but it means we aren’t as much of a threat going forwards .. he also did that against Italy and Croatia apparently
